After a long festive break I am looking forward to returning back to school, even if I possibly did eat too many mince pies, nothing that a few sessions of football cant sort out...
Didn't really get up to much in the holidays, went up to Derbyshire too see family etc. Looking forward to getting back to school, I have enjoyed the work in media so far some of the highlights have included....
With Mrs F, Learning about British films especially working title films. I feel that having learn't the 'ins and outs' about what makes a British film and what a British film includes, British film is the BEST!
Working Title Films is a British film production company, based in London, England. The company was founded by Tim Bevan and Sarah Radclyffe in 1984. It produces feature films and some television productions. Eric Fellner and Bevan are the co-owners of the company now. Working title films include, Shaun of the Dead, Billy Elliot and Notting Hill.
With Mr V, Learning how to work final cut express was insighting. But shooting our Preliminary task was fun although sometimes my actors were a little 'immature'! But I managed it in the end after several threats! Now as I look onto the next term, what a busy time I will have.
'Maxal' productions have created a great, original storyline which we hope to act and shoot well. By the end of this new year of 2009 Maxal productions will be hitting the big time in Hollywood....
Anyway, at the moment I am just in conformation with a work experience place with carrotmedia in London. Carrotmedia is a digital media agency specialising in graphic design, web design and marketing strategies. They love working with fantastic businesses across the UK developing the very best design, web and marketing strategies for their clients. I am pleased I have connections here since I am really interested in advertising in the media! Who knows what I will get up too, possibly making tea and coffee for 2 weeks, or could I be starting a new advertising campaign!!!
Au revoir.
